    SpaceX is preparing to launch GEO-KOMPSAT-3 on a Falcon 9 Block 5 from Cape Canaveral SFS, FL, USA. 3.7-ton South Korean geostationary communications satellite also known as Chollian-3. Designed to replace GEO-Kompsat-1 launched in 2010, it features advanced payloads for communications, disaster prevention, maritime safety and the safe flight of aircraft. Launch is expected in the second half of 2027 and no firm date has been announced yet.
